When you meet Ronnie Carothers, you've just met someone who has done it all; singer, musician, bandleader, manager and actor.

Ronnie started it all in the 60's when he put together a power trio called The Magic Three. He wore 2 hats; drummer and manager. Because of his natural charisma, stage presence and singing ability, Ronnies band convinced him to take on the job of lead singer and frontman. That's when things really started t rock (&roll). Wihtin a year, the group was touring across Canada and nothern United States.

Ronnie has always had a love for country music, so he decided to explore new territory. He put togther the world's first all-black country band, The Country Scouts, who had tremendous success which included backing up the legendary Red Sovine.

During his travels in the country music world, Ronnie has shared the stage with Tammy Wynetter, the Charlie Daniels Band and the bad boy of rock and roll, Jerry Lee Lweis. As a result of the audience reaction, Ronnie wa offered a long-term contract to perform in the Legends Revue at the prestigious Golden Nugget in Las Vegas. Because of his commitments back in Canada Ronnie had to decline. That was Canada's gain. When her returned, he opened for CHubby chekcer and 'tore the place up!!'

Then, Ronnie got bit (bu the acting bug). He landed speaking roles in the movies starring Paul Newman, Burt Lancaster, Don Johnson, Sidney Portier and Steven Segal. Even though Ronnie still does some acting now and then he remains with his first love: music.

Currently, Ronnie is doing concerts performing songs by Frank Sinatra, NAt King Cole and others, He still manages to throw in Charlie Pride and Hand Williams SR, only because the audience demands it.

When you hear and see Ronnie Carothers, you don't just hear and see a singer, you experience a complete entertainment package.
